Beyond Food: How Plant Allies Model a Radical Vision of the Future (Design the Wild)

Location: ZB 214
Date: Sun, March 25
Time: 3:20 PM - 4:35 PM
This workshop has three components: First on the ground level, to highlight the deep lessons nonfood plants can teach us about resistance, persistence, and the ancient radical examples they give us on how to live. Second, on a community and city level, to discuss the healing power of gardens, and the healing power in building them, and why both are crucial in our current urban communities. Lastly, broadening onto the world level, to the workshop will gently lead us to start imagining a future world, lead by our plant allies, that we can start building and live in in the future.
