Come FEEST with the youth leaders from the Food, Empowerment, Education and Sustainability Team! This session will give an overview of the FEEST model at NEBHDCo and also get youth in the kitchen as a group. Our FEEST Leaders are youth of color from Brooklyn who host monthly youth centered dinner parties in Bed-Stuy. At these parties, they cook delicious plant based meals together with folks they’ve invited from the neighborhood and then lead a dinner discussion on social justice issues that are affecting them as youth. This session will be a Mini FEEST where FEEST Leaders will teach knife skills and kitchen safety, cook a collective meal and lead a short discussion over food.
