Chef Emilie Berner, MA, is the Coordinator of the Chef Peter X. Kelly Teaching Kitchen at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. A graduate of both the New York University Food Studies Masters Program and the Natural Gourmet   Institute, Emilie furthers the hospital's wellness initiatives, which include cooking classes, an organic garden, monthly Farmers' Markets, and programs for patients and the general community to teach them to better manage their health through diet and lifestyle changes.
